A/V, audio-visual, visual-music, or Jawa, is the composition of media, often from pre-existing sources, cut, synced, re-contextualized and transformed into a rhythmic abstract narrative. Audio-visual, as defined by Wikipedia: “…is the exploration of kinetic abstract art and music or sound set in relation to each other. It includes visual music, abstract film, audiovisual performances and installations.”
